At the risk of turning the Weekend Chillout into a tribute posting, this week another rock legend passed away, Glenn Frey of The Eagles. As a tribute friends of mine posted the following cover of Peaceful Easy Feeling, a rather good version it is too.

I saw Frances Madden and her band perform at The Basement late last year and it was an amazing sell out night. If you are in Sydney in March please don't miss out on a special night, you might even spot this blogger there.

Sad to hear the news that David Bowie past away this week. This is one of my favourite Bowie music videos, recorded in Sydney in the early 80's.

Canadians are getting hammered with their currency declining against the USD as 80% of their food is imported, mostly from the USA.
