Interesting post on
Zerohedge.com today, a 10min historical doco discussing the Hunt Brothers, the silver market and touching on the issues with Iran at the time. Makes one relise nothing much has changed when it comes to the US, silver and Iran since 1980.
My takeaway observations from the video:
- Don't buy Silver on margin, or any other type of leverage
- Don't buy paper Silver (futures, ETFs, CFDs)
- Don't trust exchanges, regardless of their location
- Don't be an elephant in a small room, as it is much easier to shoot elephants than mice
- Silver and Gold are money, paper cuts.
