considered a novelty item for consumers and a useful tool for architects
and engineers—but we’re on the brink of a revolution says MakerBot CEO
Bre Pettis.
“I see this as an adventure as
big as personal computing,” he says. “We’re just at the beginning of 3D
printing…I think the next big milestone will be when someone knows
someone with a 3D printer so they have access.”
