Gold has and always will be treasured
Gold still looks amazing even if it has been buried in the dirt for 2,000 years. I can just image archeologists 2,000 years in the future digging up bundles of US$100 notes or 10 year treasury bonds and exclaiming this box contains cotton trash dust that used to be worth a fortune! (close up of dust falling though presenter's hand as he shakes his head in disbelief).
