Happy Carbon Based Life Forms Tax Day
To all my fellow Australians a Happy Carbon Based Life Forms Tax Day!
My family and our two carbon based pets celebrated this momentous day by not heating our house and only using mercury vapour light emitting devices. It was a bit cool, but we were inspired by the much greater sacrifices that our comrades in Canberra were making, with the overnight temperature in Canberra falling to 1.6C and negative overnight temps predicted for the rest of the week.
I did a quick search on the net to see if any of our neigbours had also joined in the celebrations and found one of our nearest neigbours had lit a bonfire to celebrate our sacrifices.
