Australia & Canada have sound governments when compared to the US, although that does not make them perfect. As to the AUD & CAD long term I think they will perform well against the US$ and Pound, although in the next 2 years I suspect we will see a great deal of volatility with the AUD moving in extremes from 70c to $1.20 to the US$.
Wow, what do you think of Jim's take on the AUD (and CAD)? He seems way off to me. We don't have a sound government or banking here in AU, do we?
